Our City Action Buffalo (OCAB) is a broad coalition of Buffalo residents who have come together to disrupt the political status quo in our city through movement and people-centered politics and co-governance structures. We work to change systems and to shape policies to ensure racial, social, and economic justice for all Buffalonians.

We create change by championing issue-based campaigns that shift power from the few to the many, and electing leaders who believe that community members have a right to be engaged, involved, and act as decision-makers, governing with instead of for.

Current Campaigns

It's been a busy year so far! We helped block funding for ShotSpotter, widely-criticized surveillance tech used by the police; we're leading the fight for fair maps; and we endorsed winning-candidate Jen Mecozzi for school board.
