THIS IS OUR CITY, AND WE HAVE A RIGHT TO IT

We create change by championing issue-based campaigns that shift power from the few to the many, and electing leaders who believe that community members have a right to be engaged, involved, and act as decision-makers, governing with instead of for.
About Us
Our City Action Buffalo, better known as "OCAB," is a membership-based 501(c)(4) organization dedicated to uniting Buffalonians to disrupt the political status quo. We achieve this by confronting systemic inequities through championing movement politics, issue-based campaigns, people-first policies, civic engagement, and education. Additionally, OCAB serves as a watchdog on a wide range of municipal issues and provides up-to-date local news that matters most to everyday Buffalonians.

Current Campaigns
It's been another busy year! We helped elect Buffalo's next mayor, Sean Ryan; we're leading the fight for a community-centered charter review commission; organizing around Buffalo School Board races; holding those in power accountable through our local anti-oligarch campaign; and resisting the erosion of our democracy at the local level.
